Job Position: QA / QC Materials Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-tim

Role Overview

• We are looking for a QA/QC Materials Officer to join our team.
• This role ensures that all materials procured meet required specifications and quality standards.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with manufacturers, OEMs, and the procurement team to maintain compliance and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify materials received or about to be procured to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Review and confirm that Purchase Orders (POs) match material specifications.
• Liaise with manufacturers and OEMs to validate product quality and certifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality checks.
• Report findings and recommendations to the Procurement Manager.
• Ensure all materials comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for incoming materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC or materials inspection (oil & gas experience preferred).
