Job Position: QA / QC Materials Officer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-tim
Role Overview
- We are looking for a QA/QC Materials Officer to join our team.
- This role ensures that all materials procured meet required specifications and quality standards.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with manufacturers, OEMs, and the procurement team to maintain compliance and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify materials received or about to be procured to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review and confirm that Purchase Orders (POs) match material specifications.
- Liaise with manufacturers and OEMs to validate product quality and certifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality checks.
- Report findings and recommendations to the Procurement Manager.
- Ensure all materials comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for incoming materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC or materials inspection (oil & gas experience preferred).

- Ability to work collaboratively with procurement and operations teams.
