Eat 'N’ Go Limited is a restaurant group on a mission to become the premier food operator in Africa. So far, our growing family consists of three international brands, Domino's Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery & Pinkberry.
Eat ‘N’ Go limited officially started operation in August 2012 with the premier store at 4, Saka Tinubu Victoria Island, Lagos. Today, Eat N' Go has about 100 stores (outlet) across Nigeria and still growing.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Risk Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- To lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Unit and drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a robust risk management framework across the organization.
- The Risk Manager will ensure that risks are proactively identified, assessed, monitored, and mitigated in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives and in accordance with the Three Lines Model of governance.
Responsibilities
Strategic Risk Leadership:
- Develop and implement the organization’s enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Align risk management practices with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a risk-aware culture across all levels of the organization.
Risk Identification & Assessment:
- Lead periodic risk assessments across business units to identify strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and reputational risks.
- Maintain and update the corporate risk register, ensuring timely escalation of critical risks.
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards to monitor risk exposure and trends.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and relevant governance committees.
- Ensure timely reporting of emerging risks and incidents
Governance & Compliance:
- Support the Head of Governance & Control in embedding the Three Lines Model, ensuring clear delineation of roles between risk owners, oversight functions, and assurance providers.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, and other control functions to ensure integrated risk oversight.
Risk Mitigation & Advisory:
- Work with business units to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Provide expert advice on risk implications of strategic decisions, projects, and investments.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and consultants on risk-related matters.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective risk management.
Training & Awareness:
- Design and deliver risk management training programs to build capacity across the organization.
- Champion awareness initiatives to promote proactive risk ownership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in risk management, governance, or internal control, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as CRMA, ERM, ISO 31000, CIA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, regulatory compliance, and governance structures.

Context and Environment:
- The Risk Manager will operate within a dynamic and evolving business environment, where proactive risk identification and mitigation are essential to sustaining operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth. As part of the Governance & Control Department, the Risk Manager will play a pivotal role in embedding a risk-aware culture across the organization and ensuring that risk management practices are integrated into decision-making at all levels.
- The organization is currently undergoing a transformation to strengthen its governance structure in alignment with the Three Lines Model, which clearly delineates responsibilities for risk ownership (first line), risk oversight (second line), and independent assurance (third line). The Risk Manager will lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Unit, serving as the second line of defense, and will work closely with business units, compliance, internal audit, and executive leadership to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to risk management.
- The role requires a high level of collaboration, analytical thinking, and strategic foresight, as the Risk Manager will be expected to:
- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
- Anticipate emerging risks (e.g., cybersecurity, ESG, operational disruptions).
- Support business continuity planning and crisis response.
- Provide risk insights that inform strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- The Risk Manager will also be instrumental in developing risk frameworks, tools, and reporting mechanisms that enable the organization to monitor risk exposure in real time and respond with agility.
