FundQuest Financial Services Limited is a financial intermediation company licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to offer financial and advisory solutions to individuals, businesses and government agencies.

FundQuest seeks to provide the much-needed leadership required in the finance houses sub-sector, and in conjunction with other operators and regulators, galvanize the sector to become a major contributor to Nigeria’s GDP.

We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Senior Developer

Minimum Requirements


  • Understanding of Core Banking Solutions and integration with channels such as Mobile App, Web, e-Wallets, USSD, Chat Solutions, Payment Gateways and cloud-based app interfaces
  • A very good understanding of one or more relational database management system (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle) as well as NoSQL database system
  • Hands-on experience of programming using more than one recognised industry standard language (e.g., C#, C++, Java, HTML5, PHP, Python)
  • Experience in API development, mobile development, object-oriented programming and web technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET
  • Understanding of web services like SOAP API, REST API, and messaging formats such as JSON and XML
  • Good knowledge of OAuth2.0 authentication mechanism
  • Experience in the application of the Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Test Driven Development)
  • Knowledge and experience of Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software/System Documentation, Software Testing
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture, data architecture, infrastructure and integration with existing software systems
  • Ability to lead and manage teams of in-house and externally-contracted software developers
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role in the financial services/technology industry
  • First degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines
