Job Position: Senior Fleet Manager

Job Location: Jamata Village, Lokoja, Kogi

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join our team in managing our fleet and supply chain operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods, products, and personnel across our operations and supply chain.
• This is a key role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, including trucks, tanker, and cars
• Develop and implement effective fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization, reduce costs, and improve safety
• Coordinate with Head of logistics and supply chain teams to ensure seamless movement of goods and products throughout Nigeria and west Africa sub region.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies
• Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Supervise and train fleet personnel/drivers to ensure high levels of performance and customer service

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in well established Logistics andConstruction companies or manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of success in managing large fleets and improving operational efficiency
• Strong knowledge of fleet management software and systems for tracking
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
