1.) Finance Manager
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations and contribute to the strategic financial planning of our retail business in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance, specifically within the retail or a closely related consumer-facing industry.
- This role requires a strong analytical mind, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis against budget and previous periods, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Generate insightful financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the retail sector (e.g., sales per square foot, gross margin, inventory turnover).
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to develop realistic and achievable financial plans.
- Develop regular financial forecasts (e.g., quarterly, rolling forecasts) to anticipate future performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor budget adherence and provide actionable recommendations for cost control and revenue optimization.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage daily cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring efficient collection and timely payments.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve working capital management.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), tax regulations (e.g., VAT, WHT, CIT), and other statutory requirements in Nigeria.
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
Strategic Financial Support:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business development initiatives, expansion plans, and new product launches.
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis for potential investments or projects.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to overall business strategy.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team (if applicable), fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members meet their objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a finance role, with significant exposure to the retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or hospitality industries.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

2.) Internal Recruiter
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Reports To: Internal HR & COO
Job Summary
- The Internal Recruiter plays a key role in driving the end-to-end recruitment process by engaging with clients and ensuring that each role is filled efficiently with top-quality candidates.
- This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple recruitment pipelines simultaneously while maintaining excellent client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Communication:
- Liaise with clients to gather job briefs and clarify role requirements.
- Provide consistent updates to clients on the status of their roles.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback, and follow-up communications.
Recruitment Coordination:
- Submit qualified profiles to clients professionally and on time.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to ensure candidate alignment.
Process Improvement & Oversight:
- Identify bottlenecks or delays in the recruitment process and escalate where necessary.
- Collaborate with the Internal HR Manager to develop and refine recruitment processes and SOPs.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to timelines and client expectations.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Document all communications, role updates, and feedback accurately.
- Maintain organized records of candidate submissions and client correspondence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple roles across various industries.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail), job boards, and sourcing platforms.
- Highly organised, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Timeliness of client updates and candidate submissions.
- Client satisfaction and feedback.
- Interview-to-shortlist conversion rate.
- Role: Fill rate within agreed timelines.
- Coordination effectiveness with external recruiters.

Job Scope
Administrative Management:
