Senior Portfolio Manager (Asset Management)

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the portfolio management function, drive investment strategy execution, and oversee balanced and dollar funds to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns. You must have demonstrable experience in managing sizable portfolios or institutional mandates and have demonstrated the ability to attract and retain client assets through performance, trust, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement asset allocation across equities, fixed income, and alternatives.
- Manage the firm’s flagship Balanced Fund and upcoming Dollar Fund.
- Conduct macroeconomic and sectoral analysis to guide investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with SEC and internal risk guidelines.
- Lead portfolio performance reporting, attribution analysis, and client presentations.
- Mentor junior portfolio managers and analysts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and HNI clients.
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements
The ideal Senior Portfolio Manager will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field; relevant Master’s or CFA/CIPM, CIS, ACA an advantage.
- 5–7+ years’ proven track record managing institutional portfolios or mutual funds.
- A strong institutional client base or network of asset owners.
- Proven experience in winning mandates, growing AUM, and maintaining investor confidence.
- Ability to transition and grow assets under management within a compliant and ethical framework, leveraging their reputation and track record.
- Comfort engaging directly with PFAs, insurance companies, HNIs, and corporate treasuries.
- Demonstrated performance in asset allocation, risk management, and security selection.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations and reporting standards.
