Site Engineer

 

Technical and Planning:


  • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications: Understanding and applying design plans to the construction process. 
  • Setting out and surveying: Marking out the site according to plans and ensuring that construction is aligned with the design. 
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues: Addressing problems that arise during construction and finding solutions. 
  • Preparing site reports: Documenting progress, issues, and other relevant information. 
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation: Keeping records of all activities and transactions related to the construction site. 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders: Coordinating with various parties to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Providing technical advice: Offering guidance and support to the construction team.
  • Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers: Ensuring that materials and services are procured efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Managing site resources:

    Overseeing the allocation and utilization of materials, equipment, and personnel.

  • Ensuring safety:

    Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.

  • Quality control:

    Conducting inspections and tests to ensure that materials and workmanship meet required standards. 

  • Monitoring progress:

    Tracking project milestones and ensuring that work is completed on schedule.
