About the Role

• As a Social Media Specialist at Social Media Naija (SMNaija), you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our online presence and engaging our audience across various social media platforms.
• We're seeking a social media-savvy individual who can leverage the right tools and support to generate millions of followers and subscribers for our platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
• Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including news updates, videos, and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance and optimize content strategy.
• Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
• Monitor social media channels for trending topics and opportunities to engage with our audience.
• Manage SMNaija's social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
• Collaborate with the content team to align social media content with overall editorial strategy.
• Explore partnerships and collaborations with influencers and other brands to expand our reach.

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess SSCE / OND / HND / Bachelor's Degrees with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the media or entertainment industry.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual content.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts effectively.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization strategies.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with video production and editing.
• Previous success in growing social media followership and engagement.
• Familiarity with Nigerian entertainment industry trends and culture.
• Certification in social media marketing or digital marketing.

Salary
N80,000 - N90,000 Monthly.
