From cultivating Arabica coffee in Jos, Plateau state, to meticulous processing and batch-roasting, we promise an unparalleled coffee experience. As a forward-thinking company, our footprint extends from cafes in Lagos and Abuja to our two arabica coffee farms, a cooperative of 121 farmers, and a dedicated roastery supplying premium coffee for both retail and B2B avenues. With our expansion, we seek a skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to ensure the integrity of our financial operations and compliance with legal regulations.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Stocks and Requisitions Inventory Analyst
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and report on the company’s inventory levels for cafes, roastery, and online retail.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to forecast inventory demand, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Conduct monthly inventory audits, identifying discrepancies and providing actionable insights.
Demand Forecasting:
- Utilize historical data, sales trends, and other relevant metrics to forecast inventory needs for both cafes and the roastery.
- Coordinate closely with sales and marketing teams to understand promotional activities and their impact on inventory.
Data Analysis:
- Evaluate inventory turnover rates and advise on reorder points.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, proposing strategies for stock clearance or write-offs.
- Analyze suppliers’ performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
Reporting:
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory reports for management’s review.
- Highlight potential stockouts or overstock situations, providing recommendations for action.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the procurement team to align inventory needs with purchasing schedules.
- Collaborate with the sales team for insights into customer preferences, seasonal demand spikes, or potential new product launches.
Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend improvements to current inventory management processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / HND in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Proficient in inventory management software.
- Familiarity with the coffee industry or F&B sector would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an office environment.
- Willingness to travel between Lagos and Abuja offices, and occasionally to other company locations as required.
