Job Summary
- To oversee factory operation budgeting, conversion cost analysing and operation performance reporting.
- Oversee all the finance related activities of the factories.
- Operations consist of:
- Can factory
- EVAP factory
- Powder factory
- RTD factory
- To provide accurate insight and visibility into the whole chain of Planning, Sourcing and Delivery. With focus on inventory management, logistic costs optimizaton and material price development and variances.
Vacancy Description
Production Material Analysis:
- Partner with the Plant Manager to compute and validate the deviation between Actual usage and Standard usage on a monthly basis. Ascertain the actual material loss level and compare with target.
- Calculate and settle all production variances on a monthly basis in SAP.
Standard Cost setting
- Ensures the correct setting of standard costs and effectively analyzes actual to standard costs.
- Plans and directs the analysis of all cost elements that goes into the buildup of a complete costing of all categories of materials and other financial data.
- Perform quarterly standard cost roll-ups or as needed by management.
Inventory verification:
- Take the lead in inventory accuracy, reporting and valuation.
- Responsible for developing processes to ensure transactions are occurring in a timely fashion.
- Coordinates and manages monthly, quarterly and year end physical inventory and periodic WIP audits.
- Perform cyclic stock checks. Manage control measures to ensure that mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
Conversion Cost monitoring:
- Collaborate with Supply chain team to analyse monthly spend and variance against budget/forecast for direct labour, direct energy, maintenance & repairs and depreciation and other manufacturing overheads.
Operational KPI monitoring:
- Compile and monitor the development of all relevant operational KPIs. Ascertain the root cause effect for every significant deviation.
- Co-own to attain factory operation performance target
Process Order analysis:
- Carries out weekly analysis of all process orders to highlight significant variance from target cost as well as identify the root cause of such variance.
- Communicate Process Order status and call for timely action where necessary from the factory teams (CORK, TECO, CLSD).
- Review Reprocess Order (Type: Z130) for completeness and accuracy.
Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborates with continuous improvement team to drive savings from investment plans and WCOM projects.
- Verify the actual savings from operation cost down activities.
- Continuous review and update of BOM for all Finished Goods produced for proper costing.
Requirements
What we ask:
- Candidates should possess a First Degree in Finance / Commercial related courses
- Preferred professional accountancy qualification e.g.: Master’s degree in Finance, ACA
- Adequate knowledge of SAP
- Strong analytical skills, good understanding of systems, processes and workflows
- Hands-on approach
