Qualifications and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- At least a Masters degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or any other relevant degree.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with a demonstrable knowledge of the policy issues and challenges in the water and sanitation sector in Nigeria and particularly, Bauchi Stare;
- Experience in undertaking institutional, policy and regulatory reforms will tie an advantage;
- Experience in working in a donor -fended environment;
- Ability to plan, direct, manage, control and sake initiatives independently;
- Excellent people-management skills and natural ability to motivate and build a strong team.
Key Responsibilities
- The project Team Leader shall be a self motivated professional whose responsibilities include the- following;
- Provide strategic leadership to the implementation of the project in Rivers or Ebonyi State;
- Build strong implementation partnerships with USAID Nigeria mission, the Ministry of Water Resources, and other development key partners;
- Prepare detailed quarterly and annual work plans and operational reports;
- Develop human resource plans for the implementation of the project;
- Supervise professional staff and any consultants hired to undertake specific assignments;
- Coordinate all project activities with the relevant authorities, partners and the Regional Office;
- Provide leadership and guidance to the technical assistance team and the administrative staff.
