Qualifications
Country Tax Supervisor:

  • First Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management or any other Social science-related discipline
  • Chartered Accountant with minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience
  • Prior experience in working within the Oil & Gas industry – with preference in the Oil Servicing sector will be an added advantage.
  • Good experience in internal tax reporting within a Global organization
  • Good experience and understanding of preparation of periodic tax reports such as ETR and any other periodic tax report within a multinational organization
  • Good relationship with tax authorities across the Federal and States tax authorities
  • Prior Big 4 Accounting Firm experience will be added advantage
  • Ability to work within a team and to collaborate with other team members across different functions
  • Experience in annual Company Income Tax filings on TPM, preparation and reviews of tax computations
  • Good understanding of the workings of indirect taxes (WHT, VAT, NCD etc.) and the accounting/filing of these taxes
  • Good experience in tax audits, tax reviews, tax investigation and other reviews conducted by the tax authorities
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
