Job Position: Transport Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Summary

• A reputable organization is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Transport Officer to manage, coordinate, and source vehicles for clients under leasing and car hire arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily transport operations and vehicle deployment to clients
• Source suitable vehicles for lease and car hire based on client requirements
• Liaise with vehicle owners, vendors, and leasing partners.
• Ensure vehicles provided to clients are roadworthy, insured, and properly documented
• Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and compliance requirements
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and servicing
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle assignments, contracts, and movements
• Resolve transport-related issues and client complaints promptly
• Ensure adherence to company policies and transport regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / HND / BSc Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in transport operations, fleet management, vehicle leasing, or car hire services
• Good knowledge of vehicle documentation, insurance, and regulatory requirements
• Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
