We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Travel Consultant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We need a qualified customer oriented mindset and positive attitude person for travel consultant.

Responsibilities

• Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, reviews etc.
• Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services.
• Organize travels from beginning to end through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
• Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns.
• Attend trainings to maintain familiarity with tourism trends.
• Create and update electronic records of clients.
• Maintain relationships with key persons.

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma / Degree in ticketing or tourism and hospitality.
• Proficiency in English and Igbo or Hausa or Yoruba; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively.
• You must be comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• You must be attention to Detail.
• You must be able to market airlines flight ticket and tours package.
• Customer oriented mindset and positive attitude is a must.
• Be adept or at least enthusiastic about using social media.
