Job Description

  • The Warehouse Executive is responsible for ensuring efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of automobile spare parts. 
  • This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting smooth supply chain operations, and upholding safety and quality standards within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Inspection:

  • Receive and inspect incoming spare parts for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages promptly to the supervisor.

Storage and Organization:

  • Organize and store spare parts in an orderly, labeled, and accessible manner.
  • Ensure proper stacking and categorization based on part type and usage.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.

Dispatch and Delivery:

  • Coordinate the picking, packing, and dispatch of spare parts to service teams, branches, or customers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.

Warehouse Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit reports on stock levels, damages, delivery status, and stock movements.
  • Keep records of all warehouse transactions and documentation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely parts availability.
  • Assist in training and guiding junior warehouse staff if needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in warehouse operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of spare parts handling and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in WMS or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, email, etc.).
  • Physical ability to lift and move inventory items safely.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent standing, bending, and lifting of parts or packages.
  • Use of PPE and adherence to warehouse safety protocols are mandatory.
