Job Overview


  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Officer, serving as an assistant to the Warehouse Manager.
  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient storage and distribution of our publications.
  • This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our publishing company and gain valuable experience in logistics and inventory management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping publications.
  • Prepare orders for outgoing shipments, picking and packing publications according to customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics department to arrange for the timely dispatch of orders, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Assist in conducting quality checks on publications to ensure they meet company standards before distribution.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and efficiency enhancements in warehouse operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager to support the overall success of the warehouse.

Job Requirements

  • HND/ B.Sc in any field.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a publishing or distribution environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse.
  • Must reside around University of Ibadan and its environs.
