Chimons Gas Limited was founded in Lagos in 1994 as a limited liability company. It was an idea that was developed in early 1994 while reading a project profile in a National daily. In 1996 it commenced operation at its plant site located at Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos.
For most of its existence, the company was sourcing its products from the four Refineries operated by the NNPC. While the market is in dire demand of the product, it was difficult getting the product which because of fierce competition, coupled with the remote location of our plant site at the time, it was difficult for the company to break even.
