Medico-Legal Aid Foundation (MELAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing access to health, the right to health, and human rights within the framework of health. Established with a mission to champion the rights of survivors, MELAF operates at the intersection of healthcare and legal advocacy. The foundation boasts a dynamic team comprising healthcare professionals, legal experts, and dedicated support staff, all unified by a common commitment to advocate for and empower survivors in their pursuit of justice and well-being.
Currently, MELAF operates as a sub-recipient of the Caritas Nigeria ACCESS Project, which focuses on delivering a comprehensive HIV program in Abia State, Nigeria. This partnership allows MELAF to contribute to a broader initiative addressing health challenges within the region and aligns with the foundation's commitment to promoting health and human rights.
