Population Media Center (PMC) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization and expert in social behavior change communication (SBCC) using entertainment-education programs on mass media, designed to drive demand for services and to shift social norms on entrenched issues. PMC has been working in Nigeria since 2006 and has produced 10 shows across all regions of the countries, attaining millions of loyal listeners. To date, PMC has produced four full-length Hausa radio serial dramas in Northern Nigeria that have explored the issues adolescent reproductive health, child marriage, family planning, girls’ education, and maternal and child health.
