Reaching Unreached Refugees and Peace Initiative

RURPI has emerged out of the need to comprehensively and sustainably address suffering problems in connection with crisis, insurgency, banditry and poverty in the North east Nigeria particularly to the Unreached refugees and indigents in remote villages. Many individuals, associations, professional bodies and institutions must recognize the need to have joint action for this discriminated people who are living below poverty level. The main need for RURPI are Research, medication, youth and women empowerment, social protection, and awareness creation to reduce the number of unreached refugees living below poverty level. We believe there is a close link between poverty and community’s general well-being. therefore, RURPI provides a framework within which the different actors can plan, act together and ensure that every refugees community member enjoy self-reliance and good quality of life free from poverty and its adverse effects. We all deserve a better life.
