Details

• We are currently recruiting for an organised and driven staff accountant to join our growing team.
• He/She will work closely with Human Resources and Admin personnel to handle day to day bookkeeping. This role must improve our record keeping and bring more organisation to our day to day financials.

Brief duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain asset register and asset schedule
• Perform tax planning in computation of PAYE liability of our employee(s) for the year assessment and advise us accordingly for onward deduction (at source)
• Review disbursement of cash/petty cash
• Monthly preparation of staff pay slips
• Monthly filing of VAT at the FIRS ITO office on or before the monthly deadline
• Improve Accounting systems and procedures and initiate corrective action
• Review reconciliation of receivables.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: BSC/HND Accounting
• Years of Experience: Not less than 3 years of proven experience in a related role.

Skills & Abilities:

• Advanced computer skills in MS office, accounting software, and databases
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
