We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and manage invoicing.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and cash flow monitoring.
• Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely filing of taxes (VAT, PAYE, WHT, CIT), and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Inventory & Costing: Work with procurement and warehouse teams to track stock, monitor cost of sales, and support periodic stock audits.
• Internal Controls: Implement checks to ensure financial accuracy and prevent errors/fraud.
• Audit & Liaison: Support internal and external audits, liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Management Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for business growth.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree with 0–2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, or customer service.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and good communication skills.
• Proximity to Osapa London
