We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, including invoices, bills, cash receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements, as well as accounts payable and receivable.
• Analyze financial trends to assess the organization’s financial health and provide insights for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor the efficiency of existing accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and standards.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CPA) is a plus.
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
