Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accountant to join our consulting and implementation team. This role goes beyond traditional accounting—it requires someone who understands financial processes, can operate confidently within ERP environments (preferably Odoo), and is eager to contribute to digital financial transformation projects for clients.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about numbers, business processes, and technology-driven finance workflows.
• Handle core accounting functions including GL postings, bank reconciliation, AP/AR, asset management, and cash flow tracking.
• Manage and configure accounting workflows within ERP systems, especially Odoo (journals, chart of accounts, analytic accounts, taxes, posting rules).
• Support ERP implementations by translating client financial processes into digital workflows.
• Participate in UAT sessions, financial testing, and process improvement documentation.
• Generate financial statements and customized ERP-based reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Variance Analysis).
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT).
• Collaborate with finance, technical, and operations teams to enhance ERP-driven financial efficiency.
• Document financial processes, controls, and posting procedures (SOPs).
• Provide financial insights and participate in budgeting and cost control reviews.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ICAN/ACCA is an advantage).
• 1 – 5 years of practical accounting experience (ERP environment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax administration (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with ERP software – Odoo preferred (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Sage also acceptable).
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF formulas, data checks).
• Understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay), O2C (Order-to-Cash), and R2R (Record-to-Report).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and business process driven.
• Strong communication and client-facing ability.
• Adaptable and passionate about technology and digital finance.

Added Advantage

• Experience working on ERP implementation or financial automation projects
• Knowledge of inventory costing, analytic accounting, and multi-company/multi-currency structures
• Familiarity with financial dashboards (Power BI/Odoo BI)

Salary
N100,000 - N180,000 monthly.i
