1.) Senior Sales Officer, High Networth Individual (HNI)

Job Purpose
- To aid and support to the Head of Business Development and the Managing Director of the Asset Management Unit in order to grow the Assets Under Management leading to the growth in business and revenue in a profitable and cost-effective manner.
- To understand client investment needs and objectives and identify opportunities for EDC to provide investment solutions to address such investment needs.
- To aggressively pitch for new businesses in the HNWI space.
- To provide efficient management of all existing HNWI and ensure repeated businesses from them.
- To offer appropriate financial Planning for the well-being of the company's internal and external clients, whilst maintaining the interests of the company.
- To add value to a customer base via the provision of appropriate financial advice and selling appropriate financial products to customers, thereby meeting the clients' unique financial needs.
Job Context
- The role requires candidate to be customer centric and network minded with abilities to address/escalate issues to the Head of Business Development and Managing Director in order to ensure strong customer relationships and superior service quality.
- The incumbent is requested to efficiently manage and provide information on the HNWI aspect of the business.
- Candidate is required to have a strong supervision and presentation skills.
- The incumbent is required to maintain excellent communication with Ecobank Relationship Managers to ensure AUM growth.
- The role also comes with the ability to efficiently sell investment solutions and come up with marketing initiatives to grow AUM in the HNWI space.
Key Responsibilities
- Attain targeted sales goals and performance targets through effective use of available resources.
- Develop marketing strategy for the HNWI business and detailed implementation plan for execution.
- Efficiently manage the HNWI business to ensure constant AUM and revenue growth.
- Ensure quick resolution of client issues to delight clients.
- Identify and undertake specific initiatives to win new business at each prospect.
- Identify, contact and qualify new prospects within the identified market, cold calling and following up marketing leads.
- Develop and execute responses to queries from prospects and clients.
- Co-ordinate one-to-one meetings with prospects.
- Organize and perform demonstrations and/or presentations of the company key product offerings to prospective clients.
- Manage sales opportunities from first call through to closure
- Negotiate and close new business contracts
- Work closely with the various banking group within Ecobank to propose and execute marketing activities and communication
- Take ownership of market intelligence within the market (trends, competition and sale team update)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master's degree (Minimum)
- SEC licensed
Experience:
- 4-7 years of sales/marketing experience with good sales track record, in selling investment products
- Ability to interact and negotiate with the client organization at take basic decisions.
- Sound Knowledge of Investment & Banking sector
- Product knowledge, ideally across various asset classes.

2.) Institutional Sales Manager, EDC Securities

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Purpose
- To aid and supports to the head of sales to grow in the region the Sales & Marketing business, relationships, and revenue in a profitable and cost-effective manner.
- To understand institutional client’s needs and objectives and identify opportunities for EDC to support institutional clients in addressing or escalating problems and challenges relating to sustainable growth and profitability.
Job Context
- The role implies to be customer centric, network mind with abilities to address/escalate issues to the unit head to ensure strong Sales & Marketing relationships and high service quality.
- The incumbent is frequently requested to provide information, reporting on Sales business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Relationship management:
- Pitch for and maintain business relationships with clients (Institutional and local corporates) and manage the in-country relationship to ensure the smooth running of the account.
- Daily research and analysis of micro economic variables to update institutional clients about factors which might influence their decision-making process.
- Attain targeted sales goals, performance targets and customer satisfaction through the effective management of resources.
- Initiate and follow up on new business opportunities, lead new business meetings and close sales to institutional investors and consultants.
- Leverage the organization’s relationship with existing institutional clients by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
- Assists in the development and launching of new products.
- Generate leads and cross selling of all company's products and services across all asset classes such as fixed income securities, Trust services, Banking products, Equities, Loan services and Forex.
Business Development:
- Implement marketing strategies to develop existing portfolio and development new opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and provide with products and services to satisfy client needs and achieve business objectives.
- Develop executive contact plan and arrange meetings between the proposed client and the Head of Unit.
- Prepare and agree with the Line Manager on a call planning, to maximize returns in line with business strategy.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study.
- Knowledge of the capital market.
Experience:
- At least 6 years of work experience. 5 years Sales experience with good sales track record, in local corporate and Institutional Sales. 5 years’ experience in Executive Administrative work and Customer service.
- Ability to interact and negotiate with the client organization at the Local decision-making level.
- Customer focused &results orientated.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in relevant languages to the accounts assigned.
- Ability to pull together various resources to sell and deliver customer solutions.

3.) Manager, Custody Operations

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Purpose
- To supervise the settlement of all money market and capital market trades
- To ensure the accuracy of records of all assets under safekeeping
- To ensure all corporate action events are effectively processed by ensuring all income and entitlements on client’s assets are collected within agreed timelines, policies and regulatory guidelines
- To supervise all custody operations staff
- To ensure that regulatory reports are rendered within stipulated time frame
- To ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Job Context
- This role reports directly to the Head, Global Custody. He/she should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, a substantial number of which should have been in a similar role. Must be self-driven with a strong work ethics and be a self-motivated professional.
Key Responsibilities
The core areas of focus will include but not limited to:
- Supervise the matching of trade instruction with counterparties’ advice, to ensure promptness and accuracy of settlements
- Supervise the processing of corporate actions events and ensure all customer requests and complaints are managed in an excellent/professional manner within agreed terms, policies, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain an accurate database of all clients and counterparties, keeping it updated from time to time
- Manage the process of issuance of CCI and the repatriation of funds
- Supervise the operations team which include the Settlements, Corporate Actions and Reconciliation sub-teams
- Provide technical leadership and support to staff through enhancing capabilities and coaching
- Escalate issues to the Head of Global Custody
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory rules and policies and render stipulated reports promptly and accurately to regulators.
- Liaise with financial market infrastructures relevant to the asset safekeeping and administration process.
- Represent the Custodian Bank at operations committees within the market.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6 – 8 years of banking experience in custody operations or treasury operations
- SEC Sponsored individual will be an added advantage
