Nectar Beauty Hub (NBH) is an indigenous company engaging in the marketing and distribution of beauty care products in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full time

Job Description

• Create and process invoices
• Prepare bills and invoices and send them to the clients
• Cross-check invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
• Work on overdue payments from clients
• Communicate with clients regarding billing and payments
• Resolve accounts to the general ledger
• Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
• Manage the Company’s accounts payable and receivable
• Process Refund
• Track Company’s expenses
• Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
• Handle queries related to accounts.
• Reconciling the company’s bank statement and bookkeeping ledgers
• Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Initialing and managing financial and account software used by the company.

Requirements and skills

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
• Additional certification is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Oddo, FreshBooks, and QuickBooks
• Work experience as an Accountant
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
