Job Description

• We are seeking a proficient and experienced Accountant to join our client's esteemed institution

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for management review.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough reconciliation of financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures against established budgets.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of practical experience in accounting or financial management.
• Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Membership or certification from a recognized accounting body (e.g., ICAN) is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the educational sector is preferred.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in financial practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must uphold strong ethical values and possess a God-fearing disposition.
