Prec Pearl Nigeria Limited (PPNL) is an Engineering Company that supports Telecommunication Companies in Nigeria through provision of Site Build services, Equipment Procurement, Optical Fiber Implementation and Maintenance.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Ensure reliable and effective running of the Accounting department. Promote timely service delivery to both internal and external parties.
• Ensure statutory compliance and filing of tax returns (VAT, CIT, PAYE e.tc.) and processing of tax clearance certificate and withholding tax reconciliation.
• Prepare management accounts (balance sheets, profit /loss statements), reconcile all balance sheets items and publish financial accounts statements in time.
• Develop appropriate tools and system that supports effective service delivery and provides adequate financial information to Management Team for strategic decision making.
• Manage all companies accounting transactions and ensure reconciliation of all payables and receivables.
• Prepare department’s budget and coordinate company’s yearly budget forecast.
• Provide report to Management Team regularly on company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage.
• 4-5 years experience in accounting.
• Technical knowledge of budgeting, cash management, financial statements and financial analysis processes are essential.
• Able to operate in a performance driven work environment.
• Able to analyze and handle complex business issues.
• Excellent use of Microsoft-excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
