Job Position: Accounting Assistant
Job Location: Lagos

Job Overview

• We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as hands-on experience with financial transactions and record-keeping. The Accounting Assistant will support various accounting functions and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Assist in the preparation for audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• NCE/OND in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
