Job Position: Assistant FP&A Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Overview
To support the CFO with Financial Planning & Analysis agenda including the following:

  • Prepare Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly rolling forecast (MRF) and scenario analysis in coordination with the business stakeholders
  • To measure performance against the plan and MRF with conduct detailed performnce analysis to support decision support system
  • Ensure proper review and timely financial submission to Sector
  • Business partnering to drive focus on cost efficiency, as well as uplift profitability performance and the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare AOP and Rolling Forecast to deliver business targets including volume, net revenue and NOPBT for the two businesses in Nigeria; PepsiCo Foods Nigeria and Food Concepts Pioneer(PFNL & FCPL), in order to support the development of the AOP and forward looking commercial financial forecasts for the BU.
  • Manage and develop the financial resources governing the commercial financial forecasting processes, including process and systems.
  • Prepare, rollout and monitor dashboards to lead business and financial performance discussions with stakeholders.
  • Product costings and scenario analysis to help business taking informed decisions.
  • Responsible for ensuring the iS&OP volumes are translated into revenue plans by forming links to Demand Planning & central FP&A.
  • Lead the financial analysis process and financial business case proposals for new commercial business developments (i.e. NPD P&L’s, capital expansion DCF / ROI models).
  • Actively track coman budgets and acutal cost to identify variances and engage CFO/CEO for actions.
  • To measure forecasts against variables and monitor the overall financial health of the Nigeria Business.
  • Business partnering to drive focus on cost efficiency, as well as uplift profitability performance and the overall business strategy.
  • Highlight future performance concerns and opportunities to remediate any gaps to targets.
  • Ensure timely submission to sector and drive monthly business reviews.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate Degree in Finance / Chartered Accountant / MBA
  • 4 - 5 years of work experience in planning roles in an FMCG environment
  • Strong commercial, analytical capability and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with collaborative working and influencing skills
  • Understanding of SAP, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint and general systems ability
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
