We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Audit Assistant / Control Officer

Job Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Plan and deliver internal audits of determined business area or department.
• Prepare reports of audit findings and make recommendations to Management.
• Evaluate financial records of the organization.
• Carry out risk assessments within the organization.
• Assess the suitability of current internal controls, making suggestions for improvements where needed.
• Liaise with external advisors.
• Ensure the business complies with all relevant policies, industry regulations and government legislation.
• Liaise with and advise Senior Management on internal audit issues.
• Provide support to the wider financial team on additional projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications / Work Experience

• Minimum of B.Sc / M.Sc in Accounting with not less than 5 years track record of delivery in financial and general audit projects.
• Previous work experience in the financial and banking sector would is preferable.
• Certification in ACA, ACCA or ICAN would be an added advantage.
