Job Position: Audit Executive

Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Executive to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and helping to strengthen the organization’s risk management and control framework.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing internal audit engagements across various departments.
• Review financial records, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Identify risks, weaknesses, and areas for process improvement.
• Prepare audit working papers, reports, and recommendations for management review.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to internal control policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support external audit processes as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant audit experience (internal or external).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional certification or progress towards certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA) is an added advantage.
