We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Brand Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities


  • Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy for the company in line with objectives.
  •  With the Support the Category Manager, prepare the Annual Country & Brand Plans for the Marketing Function.
  • Lead responsibility for brand management and corporate identity including portfolio management, product renovation and reengineering.
  • Monitor brand profitability & propose corrective measures to meet the profitability goals incl price increase, product renovation etc.
  •  Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Under supervision of the Category Manager, Plan and execute the Marketing Operations (activations, visibility tools) under strict Budgetary Controls
  •  With the Support of  the Category Manager develop new brand communication in close liaison with Group Marketing

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years within multi-national or other major FMCG company of substantial size and turnover with a balanced mix of hands-on Sales & Brand Management/Marketing experience preferably in the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Sound knowledge of Nigerian media landscape and consumers.
  • Experience working with & successfully managing 3rd party agencies / strategic partners.
  • Budgetary & cost control management.
  • Experience of having developed new & effective communication materials including TV copies.
  • Able to collaborate efficiently with internal and external teams.
  • Good communication skills, both written and orally.
  • Competitive intelligence & insights. .
  • Good experience in driving new product developments
