Job Description
- The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- The successful candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Manage taxation, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify risks and ensure compliance.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic advice to management.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal financial planning.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide financial training and support to internal teams as required.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on financial reporting and auditing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
