Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and visionary CEO to lead our organization into its next phase of strategic growth and impact.
- The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the fintech group. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will work closely with the executive leadership team to define and execute long-term business strategies, manage stakeholder relationships, scale operations, and position the company as a leader in the digital financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and long-term growth strategy.
- Drive expansion into new markets, verticals, and product lines.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure the efficient operation of all business units (e.g., payments, digital banking, lending, etc.).
- Establish performance metrics and oversee delivery of operational targets.
- Foster a high-performing culture focused on innovation, agility, compliance, and accountability.
Financial Management:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Work closely with the CFO to ensure sound financial performance, profitability, and investor value.
- Raise capital through equity, debt, or strategic partnerships when necessary.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
- Maintain robust risk management, legal, cybersecurity, and data protection frameworks.
- Liaise regularly with the Board to report progress and align on key decisions.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and retain a world-class executive and operational team.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Promote a positive work culture that aligns with the company’s values and goals.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company.
- Build strong relationships with investors, regulators, partners, and key clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, media engagements, and investor forums.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a CEO, Managing Director, or C-level executive in a fintech, financial services, or technology company.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in scaling startups or managing growth-stage companies.
- Strong knowledge of financial technologies such as mobile payments, digital banking, blockchain, or lending platforms.
- Excellent understanding of financial management, fundraising, and investor relations.
- Strong track record in people leadership, operations management, and product innovation.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments such as PCI DSS, KYC/AML, or financial licensing regimes is a plus.
