Canaan Solicitors, a Corporate Commercial Law practice located on the Island, requires the services of a personable, pro-active and result oriented candidate to fill the position below:

Job Position: Client Service / Business Development Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Requirements

• Degree qualified (Minimum Second Class Upper or Lower), additional professional qualifications will be preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in top range services marketing, business development and client services management.
• Have a trackable niche for:
• Providing business development support and facilitating cross marketing referrals and other business development initiative for service based organization
• Executing best practice based pitch and proposal materials in the pursuit of new business
• Develop marketing and pitch materials including capabilities statements, brochures and web content.
• Evaluating and effectively implementing existing marketing and business development plans
• Utilizing research processes, resources, and tools to provide actionable business intelligence, including prospect research, industry or geographic research and competitive analysis
• Excellent writing, editing, research, organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines
• Dealing professionally with both internal and external clients on all levels
• Communicating clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing with both internal and external clients, and diplomatically seeking more clarity or information from those in authority, if needed
• Concentrating on the details of executing projects
• Personable, articulate, computer savvy with clear cut leadership written and oral
