Job Position: Credit & Risk Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Credit & Risk Officer to support effective credit appraisal, risk management, and loan portfolio monitoring in line with regulatory and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct credit analysis and appraisal of loan applications
• Assess and manage credit and operational risks
• Monitor loan portfolios and identify early warning signals
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s credit policies and CBN guidelines
• Carry out KYC, AML, and customer due diligence
• Prepare credit and risk reports for management review
• Support loan recovery and NPL management initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or related field
• 3–5years of relevant experience in a financial institution (Microfinance experience is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis and risk management
• Good understanding of CBN regulations
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
