We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Data Protection Team

Job Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Ensure all data received on the server are complaints with NPC and NDDC required data.
  • Ensure all household and enrolee records are properly taken
  • All required are properly filled.
  • Give weekly reports on data activites e.g. data synced (compliant and non-compliant), users, agents and clinical data etc.
  • Regular update of the company’s data protec?on policies in alignment with NDPR data and compliance and regula?ons policies.
  • Perform necessary training for all staffs in terms of data compliance and privacy policies.
  • Responsible for onboarding of agents.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degrees (e.g., Master's, MBA) or certifications in areas such as data protection, privacy law, compliance, or risk management may be advantageous.

Certifications:

  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
  • Other relevant certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM),
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Compliance and Ethics
  • Professional (CCEP) may also be beneficial.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Nigeria's data protection laws and regulations, including the Nigeria
  • Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and other relevant legislation.
  • Familiarity with regional and international data protection frameworks such as the
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and their implications for Nigerian organizations.
  • Knowledge of privacy-by-design principles and best practices for implementing privacy controls in systems and processes.
  • Ability to conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs), data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), and audits to evaluate compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
