Job Position: IT Officer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

• The IT Officer is responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT systems, ensuring reliable network access, data security, and providing technical support to staff.
• The role supports day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and implementation of technology solutions that enhance productivity and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Manage user accounts, email systems, and access rights
• Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity
• Monitor system performance, minimize downtime, and perform backups and updates
• Ensure IT security, antivirus protection, firewalls, and data confidentiality
• Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and system documentation
• Support IT upgrades, projects, and vendor coordination
• Assist with procurement of IT equipment and software.

Qualifications

• HND / BSc in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience)
• Relevant IT certifications are an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of computer systems, networking, and IT security
• Proficiency in office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month
