Job Position: DevOps Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Description

• We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to drive the design, automation, and management of our infrastructure and deployment processes.
• his role focuses on improving collaboration between development and operations teams while ensuring continuous testing, scalability, and 24/7 platform availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage infrastructure and deployment tools
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Integrate open-source technologies to support business goals
• Manage source control, branching, and release strategies
• Configure and maintain databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra)
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Perl
• Build and support microservices and internal tools
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and uptime
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to deliver projects successfully

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4–5 years of software engineering experience (minimum 2 years in DevOps)
• Strong skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with Git and command-line tools
• Solid understanding of operating systems and infrastructure
