Job Summary


  • Develop and maintain .NET applications in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions.
  • Ensure compatibility and optimal performance of applications with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Windows Server environments.
  • Develop and utilize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Optionally, integrate with SMTP servers for email communication and implement Windows authentication single sign-on and AD (Active Directory) sync for enhanced user experience.
  • Implement necessary configurations and security measures, including CI (case insensitive) collation, data reader and writer rights, modify schema rights, snapshot isolation, read committed snapshot, and SQL Server authentication.
  • Configure and deploy applications within IIS (Internet Information Services) environments, ensuring compatibility with ASP.NET and HTTPS communication.
  • Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices.
  • Perform any other tasks relevant to business and departmental goals as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a .NET Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework, C# programming language.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with the ASP.NET framework, .NET Core, SQL Server and familiarity with design/architectural patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases, including database design, optimization, and administration.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments, IIS, and SSL certificate management.
  • Familiarity with web services (RESTful, SOAP) and API integration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools for automated software delivery.

Optional:

  • Experience with SMTP servers, Windows authentication, and Active Directory integration.

Optional:

  • Relevant certifications in .NET development or related technologies.
