We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Electrical Engineer
Job Location: Ibeju - Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial applications, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and automation components.
  • Configure and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) to control industrial processes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support during commissioning, startup, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for electrical issues, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
  • Specify and select electrical components, including motors, drives, controllers, and sensors, based on project requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality electrical components and equipment.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to electrical engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (6 years) working in industrial settings, with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, pumps, VFD, VSD drivers, and power systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
