Empire Trust Microfinance Bank is a financial institution that was incorporated with the objective of reducing the number of Nigerians living below poverty line by providing responsive financial services and offerings in line with the global initiative of poverty alleviation in order to enhance the quality of life of the low-end actively engaged populace. The bank was incorporated in 2014 and is duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria as a Microfinance Bank.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Human Resources Generalist (Male)

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Responsible for maintaining, administering and executing the company’s human resource policies and programs including but not limited to staffing, performance management, compensation & benefits, grievance and discipline.

Job Description

• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
• Provide first level advice and support to managers on all matters relating to employees in the branch.
• Respond to employee HR related requests, attend to employee complaints and work to resolve conflicts in the branch.
• Participate and take notes at investigation and disciplinary hearings when necessary.
• Keep track of all HR transactions including salary payment, travel allowances, employee awards, statutory payments.
• Administer employee HMO plans, update employees with the required information and resolve queries resulting from the use of HMO.
• Provide advice and guidance on employee leave benefits & entitlement such as maternity, paternity, annual etc.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc. qualification.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of working experience in HR.
• Must have practical HR Experience.
• Must be very Smart.
• Must have excellent Team Building and player experience.
• Must have Excellent Communication skill.
• Must have very Good Computer knowledge.
