Job Position: Experienced Java / J2EE Developer

Job Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Design, program, test and document software;
• Implement changes;
• Apply existing standards for programming, naming, security - performance and provide proper code documentation;
• Promote reusable components;
• Provide support to our customers.

Qualifications

• A University Degree in Informatics: Engineer, Master of Science
• At least 5 years of JAVA programming experience
• Skilled in several or all of the following J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, Swing, UML, XML, MVC, SQL, Hibernate, Spring, JQuery, Angular, NodeJS;
• Other Assets: Side-knowledge of databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, SQL Server), SAP, GIS-systems...
• A strong affinity with information technology;
• Knowledge of functional and technical analysis, technical architecture standards and frameworks;
• We expect you to be a problem solver, polyvalent enough to take a large professional exposure;
• Enthusiastic, communicative, team-oriented and flexible;
• Verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch and/or French highly desirable.
• Sun Certifications (Programmer, Web Development) are plus.
