Job Brief

• We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Facility & Hotel Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team. As the Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of the hotel, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
• The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, including preventive maintenance and repairs
• Look after the maintenance of the hotel building and ensure that it contributes to a better hotel environment
• Manage and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance and support
• Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure minimal disruption to guests
• Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance issues
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance
• Conduct training sessions for maintenance staff on safety and best practices

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering/ Electrical engineering. Etc.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in facility & hotel maintenance management or a related field.
• HSE Certification is an added advantage
• Masters Degree in engineering is an added advantage
• Strong technical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility maintenance
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Familiarity with maintenance software and systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
