The Board of Trustees of the Grundtvig Movement controls the operations of the school through the principal. The Grundtvig Movement is inspired by the Danish Education-for-Life philosopher Bishop N.F.S. Grundtvig (1783-1872) and our rich tradition.

Job Position: Facility & Works Officer

Job Location: Oba, Anambra 

Job Summary

• Grundtvig International Secondary School requires the services of a resident Facility & Works Officer to join the team responsible for the effective maintenance and management of all school facilities.
• The officer will supervise junior technical and maintenance staff, oversee construction and renovation projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and liaise with relevant external contractors and regulatory bodies when required.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:

• A good Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Sound knowledge of facility management best practices.
• Computer literacy with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to generate relevant maintenance tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
