Job Position: Field Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate Field Engineer to join our operations team.

Job Description

• You would be responsible for providing service and support to customers.
• On-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing.
• You would diagnose errors or electrical problems and determine proper solutions or escalate when necessary.
• Responsible for planning, tracking and documentation of project work.
• Swiftly diagnose and clear any faults or alarms or resolve all escalations within the period stipulated in SLAs.
• Ensure maintenance work undertaken by the team meet the specified standard and requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems.

Requirements

• Must have a Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 1+ year experience in telecom or related industry is a must.
• Must be below 28 years.
• Must possess hands-on skills in handling DC electrical wiring, batteries and electrical earthing.
• Experience in the termination of electrical cables and LAN cables is required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and circuits.
• The ideal candidate must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
• Willingness to travel and available to start immediately.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and spreadsheets.
