We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Field Recovery Officer
Job Location: Ketu / Mile 12, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Field Recovery Officer is responsible for recovering outstanding debts from delinquent customers through field visits, negotiations, and structured repayment arrangements.
• The role involves maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Field Verification Officers across the state.
• Ensure all verifications are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Escalate operational issues proactively and support prompt resolution.
• Conduct physical visits to business premises to evaluate financial operations, inventory, and overall business health.
• Carry out on-site verifications of residential and business addresses.
• Visit guarantors and referees to confirm their awareness and availability in case of future contact.
• Compile and submit detailed daily reports on all verification activities.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in any relevant discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in debt recovery, credit control, or field collections (preferably in financial services, microfinance, or FMCG).
• In-depth geographical knowledge of the local environment
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in credit risk or field verification is an added advantage
• Apt attention to details
• Proven simple/complex analytical skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Agility and perseverance

Salary
N201,000 monthly.
