Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Location: Garki, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time


What You Would Do

  • The senior Associate will play an active role for both equity and debt fundraiser while growing Accounts and managing a team that takes care of financial, legal and compliance operations for the group.
  • Spearhead both equity and debt fundraiser for the company, including direct pitches to investors, selection/management of bankers/vendors, direct ownership of the process from start to finish.
  • Oversee all finance and operations for the group, including billing, A/R. A/P, GL, cost accounting and revenue recognition, audits, tax and ensure systems and controls reflect ‘best practice’ financial processes.
  • Arranging working capital requirements and managing the cash flows.
  • Manage shareholder and BOD financial and performance reporting support strategy, operation, and financial planning with financial modeling, data analysis and insights.
  • Develop and manage budgets and long-range financial forecasts.
  • Experience with and focus on leveraging automation and software to standardize, speed up and improve the quality of core processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and other regulatory requirements.

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or in a related field.
  • At least 8 years experience working as a finance associate.
  • Strong background in Finance, Audit, and Taxation.
  • MBA qualification would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in integrated financial management software, such as Sage book.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Candidate should have experience handling investor relations and should also understand business and financial modeling.
  • Candidate MUST be chartered as at when applying for this position.
  • Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
