Job Position: Financial Accountant

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work days: Mon-Sat ( Full Time On-site)

Job Summary

• We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, daily postings, account management and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
• Forecast costs and revenues
• Manage tax payments
• Organize internal audits
• Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
• Analyze financial trends
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Additional certification (e.g. ICAN or ACA)
• Strong proficiency in financial accounting principles and reporting
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
• Excellent math skills with an attention to details.
• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
